Is it Mythical or Magical?

Hello and Welcome to today's posting.
Carol is Hosting for the first time as a Jugs Designer
and chose
I am really looking forward to seeing what
transpires this week in our Gallery
with such a Fun Trend.
Something completely different from me this week.
I do have a confession to make here -
My card was made quite some time ago at a card class.
You see there is nothing Mythical in my supplies
that would do this Trend justice.
I did think of Christmas as being Magical
but took the easy way out.
To my regular visitors they will know
I cannot colour with pens so
you will excuse me for my poor skills in this area.
I must give credit to our Class Instructor
Tania from Paper and Me 2
for this Magical Design.

Pop over and see Talent from
Stef Perry - our March Guestie
and of course my Team Mates.
Hope to see lots of Myth or Magic in our Gallery.
Thanks for dropping in.

It's 'Die' time at Happy Little Stampers

Hi there! Yes it's that time again for our
Anything Goes with Dies Challenge over at
Happy Little Stampers

As you can see I have used a few dies here, some of
my favourites from STAMPlorations and colours from Stampin' Up.
The floral image is Bloom with Hope inked with Rich Razzleberry
and centres with yellow Liquid Pearls.
Main tag is also cut from the same colour.
Behind that is a partial cut of Spellbinders Labels 27  backed by
scrap SU papers and ribbon.
Sentiment is from 49 and Market.
Tag is tied with yellow cotton.

Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon
to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE.

IF YOU USE STAMPS BY HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS
AND YOU ARE OUR RANDOM WINNER,
YOUR PRIZE WILL BE DOUBLED!

Don't forget to pop over and see what the Team
have die cut for your inspiration. Hope you can
add yours to our Gallery.
Thanks for dropping in.

This Time it's Just for You

So you're  back too see my other Acetate Card?
You then know it is for  the CAS Mix Up Challenge
oops!
Before I go any further I just noticed I didn't add the
Graphics to my first Acetate card so off to fix it.
Okay! here we go...
I thought I would once again try something a
little different with the Acetate
and it's pretty simple!
I delved into my bits box and found
some smooched (again) oxide inked paper
and cut out 2 dies (unknown) then
repeated with Acetate. I embossed
all 4 die cuts with Swiss Dots to add
a bit of texture. When I glued the Acetate
I did so slightly to the side.
My card base is cream and added a strip of
kraft paper as a backing for my dies.
Finished with a sentiment from Inspired by Stamping,
a tiny Waffle Flower bow, a few gems and
corner rounding.
My Mix is Acetate, die cutting, watercolour smooching,
stamping and dry embossing.

Thanks once again for dropping in.
I'm off for some Sister Time for a long week end
so no crafting. But I do get to spend up
at a craft store as I have a Gift Voucher
she gave me for Christmas. Yay!

Oh! you will see a scheduled post
as Saturday is Just Us Girls Challenge Day.
It's something very different for me.

Simply 'With Love'

Hi there Stampin' Friends.
I always look forward to seeing what technique
we have to play with each month at CAS Mix Up
and this time round it is to use
Acetate/Stamping/Your Choice
Details are Here

I hesitated here wondering if I should add it to their Gallery
thinking it may be too plain but then Loll posted one she made
using acetate to emboss - so here it is.
My Mix is Acetate, Embossing, Inking,
Die Cutting, Smooching.
My card base is from SU. I embossed my
Kaisercraft Leaves then cut it down to size
to feature behind my image.
This was made while I was visiting my friend
and I do remember that it was from Gina K.
It was heat embossed and cut from a SB die.
The background for that is some smooching of
 Tim's Oxide's in Ripe Persimmon/Mermaid Lagoon.
Die cut the 'with love'  to match.

Thanks for dropping in today.
I do have another Acetate Card in the making
so be sure to pop back in sometime
to see how I made that one.

It's all about SPRING and FAITH!

Hello and Welcome to my little corner of Blogland.
Today's post is for our March Challenge
over at STAMPlorations
which is all about Spring and Faith.
You can find all the info Over Here.
Don't you love the Graphic!

It's coming on Spring over the pond but closing in
on our Autumn here in the south which means cooler days.
Flowers are still blooming and we can still sit outside
relaxing with a good cup of tea - hence I have incorporated the
STAMPlorations Framed-Tea-Cups here
I heat embossed in White onto Vellum paper
and including the Sentiment which I think reflects the Faith side.
It is a little hard to see but says
Where there's tea there's hope
from STAMPlorations Always Tea Time
I found this nice soft DP in my stash and thought
it suitable to frame those tea cups.
The metallic card stock and all 3 layers were cut from
CUTplorations Double-Running-Stitch-Rectangle-Nesting-Dies
These are the STAMPloration products used.

There is so much scope here.
Of course there are prizes and you can even get a 20% discount

A Bit of Snarky Tissue-d Stenciling!

Hello Crafty Friends
I had a bit of time up my sleeve and thought I would
play again with 2 current challenges I posted on recently.
They are Shopping Our Stash and
The Sisters of Snarky Stampers

My card fits both - stencils and tissue
and this time I used a snarky sentiment.
I do love this old
 STAMPlorations Rocking Chair
as it goes perfectly with my
 STAMPlorations A Snarky Birthday sentiment
These were inked with Tim's Gathered Twigs.
I like how they turned out so aged looking.
My background has scrunched tissue
glued to a white base. I then inked my
ARTplorations Nestled Circles stencil
with SU Baja Breeze.
Finished with a few grungy bits and ruling
lines around for interest then adhered to brown card base.

These are the STAMPloration products I used.

I'm using my 'Stash of Stencils'

Hey there Crafty Ones.
Today's post is for the current challenge over at
Shopping Our Stash and they are asking us to use our
Stashed Stencils and thanks to being on the DT at STAMPlorations
I have plenty to choose from don't I Chris!!
They seem to be the ones I go to all the time
and don't need dusting off.
The decision was which ones to choose...

I chose 3 but a little disappointed that the main
glittered butterfly stencil faded into the oxide background.
The first stencil I added was
ARTplorations Square Dance followed by
ARTplorations Bloom Factory and lastly
ARTplorations Flutterbuy (Out Of Stock)
I added white texture paste to my butterfly stencil
and while wet sprinkled glitter on to it.
The background flowers/circles were inked with
Tim's Oxide Seedless Preserves.
My cut sentiment is from CUTplorations
and small sentiment by
STAMPlorations It's All About You Set.

That's it for this one but hoping to get time
to play with my stencils some more.
Thanks for dropping in -
